Today I went for the first MRI I have had after my diagnosis. I have been on Betasaron for 6 months. Today the person doing the MRI told me that nothing was lit up. I think this means none of my lesions are active. Now this doesn't mean, that I don't have RRMS, just that at the moment it is not active. I still have balance issues, weak leg issues and fatigue. So I guess that means all that is damage that has already occured? I'm still trying to understand all this.

Your understanding is correct: nothing 'lit up' = no active lesions. Not all symptoms go away between flares, though, so it's not surprising that you still have issues.

You'll probably want to read the written MRI report, too. It should compare this scan to your previous one, and tell you if you have any new lesions (that are already no longer active)...
