OCT test

Next week I'm going for an OCT (optical coherence tomography) test. My plan is to get this
test at least twice a year to establish a benchmark and to help monitor my progression going forward.

Here's one of many articles: http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/20 ... 091256.htm

That said, does anybody know if there's anybody who might be interested in results to add to
their research?

This test is covered by OHIP ( :shh: ) but I don't know how often yet. I'll post whatever results I get.

Had the OCT test today. Nice and easy, stare at some blinking lights - took 5 minutes. The doc and I agreed that once a year is a
good time frame for the next one unless something weird happens.

He'll be looking at the pretty pictures and if anything odd shows up, I'll find out.

Here's how I went about getting the test. I brought this http://www.thelancet.com/journals/laneu ... 2/abstract to my eye doc and he got me a referral to the guy with the machine to do the test.

I've got the full pdf of the study if anyone wants it via email. Since this test is covered by OHIP, I figured why not have a baseline and go
from there.

Edit: Better yet, here's the study pdf: http://www.canadianstalk.net/OCT.pdf
