Hello all-

My name is Sarah, I am 23 years old, and I was diagnosed with MS in July of 2012. It was a huge shock, but since then I have come to peace and am enjoying life with no reservations!

I started on the medicine Copaxone during the fall and between that and the hospital bills mounting up, I have began to realize that people who are not as blessed as myself with a job providing full insurance, that MS can effect you in more ways than just physically.

Due to this, myself and my boyfriend of four years recently launched a fundraising program that will kick off a new organization that will help an individual each month with medical expenses. At this time we do not know how many gifts will be given monthly as that will be determine by the total number of donations.

Although I realize many are here have MS as well, you can still Like our Facebook page and spread this to everyone you know. The money donated directly correlates how much each gift is worth. One this fundraiser is completed, our final site will be launched for people that are in need of financial assistance to apply and hopefully receive help from us!

If you have any questions please respond here!

Welcome to ThisIsMS. It seems that you have a steep hill to climb especially considering the ever rising costs of the MS DMDs.

Just curious, how will the donated money be used?
