MS and salt/sodium intake

There is a lot of talk about salt intake contributing to the rise in the diagnosis of MS.

My question is, It is difficult to eat foods that do not contain some form of sodium/salt.

Realistically and in general. If one is drinking roughly 80 ounces of water daily, how much salt is filtered out and expelled through urine? I know expelling the salt through urine aids in decreased levels of sodium in the body, but to what degree? Does this help with MS related symptoms?

Salt is necessary for life. The problem is the sodium-to-potassium ratio. When we eat process foods all we get is the sodium and not the potassium. Nature has put the correct ratio in the real foods we should eat. The best way to get the correct ratio is to eat the real fruits and vegetables. Not the things in cans or packages.
