Multiple Sclerosis
Studies in preclinical models have demonstrated robust anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective effects of RNS60. Protocol development is underway for a Phase II clinical study that will evaluate the effect of RNS60 on progression of MS in patients.
So they are still designing the study. Has anyone called them regarding when they think it will happen?

On the bottom of this page, they appear to be looking for partners (I am guessing funding)

Revalesio is seeking partners for the continued development of RNS60.
hmmm... just noticed there was a poster at the 2011 ANN

Video with mechanism of action (at bottom of page). Seems plausible (like I know what I am talking about  ) http://revalesio.com/about-our-technology/

I might call later today to try to track down trial details.

No need to call. Details @ link.

Bummer about the avonex arm of the trial. I won't risk being put on any existing dmd. :(

Its a little strange that the treatment arms are on IV while the "Active Comparator" is itra-muscular. So i guess it isn't blinded? You could always enroll and pull out if you are given IM injections. I notice you could not be on virtually any prescribed MS treatment ever.
Exclusion Criteria:
* Therapy with any immunomodulatory drugs within 3 months prior to enrollment, including but not limited to interferons, glatiramir acetate, BG-12, teriflunomide, laquinimod and IV immunoglobulin.

* Treatment at any time with immunosuppressive drugs such as cladribine, total lymphoid irradiation, monoclonal antibody treatment, mitoxantrone, Tysabri, fingolimod, cytoxan, methotrexate.
