New indicator molecules visualise the activation of auto-aggressive T cells in the body as never before.

Biological processes are generally based on events at the molecular and cellular level. To understand what happens in the course of infections, diseases or normal bodily functions, scientists would need to examine individual cells and their activity directly in the tissue. The development of new microscopes and fluorescent dyes in recent years has brought this scientific dream tantalisingly close...... Read More - http://www.ms-uk.org/index.cfm/immunecells

I continue to question articles that state MS is an "autoimmune disease" and blame a person's immune system for being overactive or out of control. There is documented research that shows severe brain lesions of MS patients that caused death had no involvement with the immune system at all yet something obviously caused the huge inflammation in the first place. And nobody has been able to prove that MS is indeed an "autoimmune disease".

While a MS patient's immune system often reacts to an inflammation causing scenario, I wish researches would spend more time, energy and funding on what may be the cause of this problem as opposed to blaming a person's immune system all the time.

Until now, scientists had only suspected this to be the case. In the animal model of multiple sclerosis, scientists are now able to track not only the migration of the T cells, but also their activation pattern in the course of the disease.
I truly hope the scientists understand that that "the disease" we have is not EAE. :?

Immune system "involvement" has become the "catch-all" for all sorts of unexplained/misunderstood conditions. Mortals need not try to understand the almighty immune system. What is CAUSING the trigger? E.g. Viral cause of CCSVI as cause of an eventual autoimmune event ++ and so on.

Unfortunately, all the drug companies who provide us with the approved MS medications, don't seem to really care what is causing the trigger. Their interest is developing powerful immune system altering drugs which the patient has to take for years. The profit from these sales is immense! And things aren't likely to change any time soon.

i believe our immune system is working perfectly, we need to look at the cause it looks like the scarring starts at the ventricles and spreads out from there like knocking over a cup of water on dry cement, it starts at the cup and spreads out. So it appears to be coming from the ventricle which is CSF. CSF backs up in the ventricle because of an obstruction then once it gets to full, the ventricke ruptures spilling csf

whats funny is when a chiropractor corrected my C1 or Atlas's misalignment, i almost felt like i was ms free

CLAP, CLAP to everyone. Other terms which are also bandied to the Nth degree are:
"yeast issues" and "liver issues" and "allergies" - All very comfortably vague & catchAll
Way back then, when i used to read the FM Newsletters, what I mostly saw was the term "immune, immune" ad infinitum. I used to tell myself, OH? Then why have I had creaky stiff joints & painful, calcified feeling breasts ever since puberty? Indeed, decades later, a mammogram reported grossly dense breasts with microcalcifications.

And to respond re: ROOT CAUSES:
...if Quantum Physics Diagnostics such as http://lifesystemusa.com/sceensgallery/index.html would by some cockeyed miracle ever get to replace currently antiquated diagnostics, can you imagine how that would revolutionize mankind's perspective of the S.S.(stealthcareSystem), hopefully placing the AMA+FDA into the Hall of Shame?

Hall of Shame, such as bankers being coined banksters.

In prep. for that, does anyone have ideas to submit for nomination?
For starters, I've already nominated these two, in case y'all haven't already seen them:
US (Unhealthcare System)
SS (Stealthcare System) - or maybe Socialized Stealthcare
now any ideas for descriptively coining the AMA+FDA gangsters? (uh, Dr. S, please don't take offense..
