can't help but think this has something to do with my diagnosis, especially when many of my friends from high school that i am still in touch with suffer from chronic diseases such as lupus, diabetes, cancer, and narcolepsy. also, i know far too many young men that have had heart attacks from fresno too. i remember reading a long time ago that heart attack rates increase as the particulate matter in the air increases. i don't remember what study i was reading to give a reference or a direct quote and i don't remember anything about the mechanisms that might be responsible but i'm not surprised. particulate matter is a huge problem in the valley.
