body talk - anyone?

this video reminded me of myself in ways-abandoned by the x, dragging my legs, wearing the depends, sweet and loveable , loveing those that treat me well and thankful for them.--and, wouldn't we all love to get up and running and wagging our tails. --we all have to keep in mind "never say never". our bodies are amazeing knowing creations that even though they can get derailed it doesn't mean we are done for. it's not over till it's over and then we simply move on.

there are some testimonials of ms. the guy that started this. practioners etc. to be googled and found. then if interested, take it from there. this is discussion and putting things out there not promoting.

a friend of mine truly believes in it. i tried it for a short time and i did feel more upbeat, more energy small things. but my pocketbook can only do so much. also, i think finding the best educated in this or anything else "and affording it" comes into play just like anything else. any way, here are some starters for those interested. i'd love to get feed back--good or bad.

if you don't get a tear or a grin watching the puppy video then something else is very wrong.

Dachshunds, because of their build with the long back with no support, are prone to what we used to generically call "down in back". My parents raised Dachshunds for many years, and luckily only had this happen once. It is a physical injury, not the result of, what was it? high liver levels or something? I believe that would be a result, not a cause. Our dog recovered with a bit of PT. She was lucky!

I suppose there may be something to the "body talk". A sort of acupressure, or acu-thumping  . I can believe the physical healing part, but have my doubts as to how can touching an animal, in any way, tell someone about the dog's mental state?

Hi blossom,

Tried Body Talk about 12 or 13 years ago. It didn't do much for me.....but we are all different. The facilitator seemed very knowledgeable. Keep with it if it works for you.

On a side note, my sister took her dashound to a pet chiro as we did with our beagle.......worked wonders.
