Dear JOHN,

Learning for Life is a new, client-focused educational series, developed to find new ways to reach the MS community – especially those living with MS in remote areas of Canada.

The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada is thrilled to announce the launch of our new Ask the Expert tool, located at www.msanswers.ca. This online forum will allow people with MS, caregivers and others to discuss issues of importance and get accurate and timely answers to specific MS-related questions from subject experts, including leading neurologists, MS nurses and psychiatrists.

The site launched today and you can now submit your questions electronically, at your convenience. Questions will be anonymous and answered by the appropriate experts; the answers will be posted on the Ask the Expert web site.

Online Education

As part of the Learning for Life initiatives, we will also be offering two online education sessions this spring – one on the topic of Managing MS-related Sexual Dysfunction and another on Managing MS-related Bowel and Bladder Dysfunction. These sessions will be offered in both French and English and will be held on May 16 and June 13. Please visit our website for more information and to register.

The MS Society of Canada is very excited to launch these innovative, online tools. They will serve as both a forum to talk about current MS issues and as a resource to get more information on specific topics affecting you and others across the country. We hope that you will join us in supporting these wonderful ventures!

The Ask the Expert forum and the Online Education sessions are part of the Learning for Life educational series and are made possible through the support of an unrestricted educational grant from Biogen Idec.
