First off let me explain that I have bad anxiety and am a worrier.
But I have had symptoms for one full year now and can't find an answer.

It started last year with these 2 black dots appearing in my right eyes vision. They looked like bugs, they appear when its daytime and bright outside. I also started to wake up with numb hands 4 out of 7 nights. My girlfriend says she has noticed me sleeping with bent writs recently , I don't know why.

For about 4 months I've started to get burning in my palms that comes and goes as well as sometimes a burning in my heels.

Seen to optomologist who did complete exams of my eyes and think they are healthy and the "floaters" are from slight retinal thinning and there's nothing I can do.

My anxiety is through the roof right now I worry about having some disease everyday and just feel so broken down. My aunt had MS at the same age. My dad was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes 2 years ago. I use to be out of shape 240 pounds and am around 200 now. I don't know what to do Im in constant fear of new symptoms

Welcome to ThisIsMS, Chicago30.

Since you asked, I offer you my suggestions:

Start with your GP; take a written list of your symptoms to discuss with him; he can order blood tests and start the investigation of your situation. The "burning" in your hands and feet is the description for peripheral neuropathy. Perhaps your doctor will start with the following or he might refer you to a neurologist for this:

This description of a neurological exam might be helpful for knowing what to expect:

Especially important is this section on blood tests:

Blood tests

Blood tests are commonly employed to check for vitamin deficiencies, toxic elements and evidence of an abnormal immune response.
Depending on your individual situation, your doctor may request certain laboratory tests to identify potentially treatable causes for neuropathy. These include tests for:

Vitamin B12 and folate levels (Jimmylegs, here at TIMS, recommends magnesium, zinc, and copper also.)
Thyroid, liver and kidney functions (especially thyroid hormones testing is recommended by Kathryn Simpkins in her book, The MS Solution)
Vasculitis evaluation
Oral glucose tolerance test (I suggest a "fasting blood insulin test" also.)
Antibodies to nerve components (e.g., anti-MAG antibody)
Antibodies related to celiac disease (I think this is VERY important, as well as a mannitol-lactulose test for Intestinal Permeability.)
Lyme disease (Bartman, among other TIMS members, urges this testing.)
HIV/AIDS
Hepatitis C and B

I think that a "fasting blood insulin test" (this is NOT the same as a glucose test, which is used to diagnose diabetes) is especially appropriate for you since you used to weigh 240 pounds (now, 200 pounds). Insulin is the "fat storage hormone" and people cannot put on weight without it. I suspect that you have excess insulin circulating in your bloodstream (The optimal blood test result should be 3 UU/ML or lower.); the insulin test can tell you if that is the case.

All the best to you. Let's us know how things go for you.

LindaCaroll gave you good advice.

To add some to what she said...
You really want an ophthalmologist, not an optometrist to assess for eye issues in MS.

The burning sounds like it could be nerve related. If you have insurance, you could follow up with a neurologist.
Good luck.

Thank you for the replies, will get those tests done ASAP.
I have seen two optomologist or however you spell it, both didn't find anything to be concerned about except for some retinal thinning in both eyes.
I saw a neurologist who did nerve emg test on arms and they were normal,he thought my symptoms were anxiety related or stress from bartending.
I don't know anymore, guess just go get blood test done. This is weighing on me so much

The most important test you should have done is the vitamin D test. Most people are deficient in this vitamin and it can prevent most disease. Other than that check out the diet section and get on a diet mainly of fruits and vegetables which is were are health comes from. The process foods people are eating today are making them sick. Stop stressing because that will make you sick. Take control of your health because you are the only one who can.
