How about the possibility of a drug cocktail for MS?

What would you hypothesize would happen if someone with MS took the following regimen of drugs? (all at the same time)

Zocor
Minocycline
Inosine
Low Dose Desaprimine
LDN adminstered nightly 4.5mg
B-12 shots administered regularly
Alpha Lipoic Acid, acetyl-L-carnitine, Co-Enzyme Q10 in large dosages
6000mg Fish Oil per day
Vitamins A,C,D,E, Calcium and Magnesium in large dosages

Just wondered. HIV patients are treated with a cocktail of oral drugs. How about MS?

Hi Daunted, Interesting idea, and I am sure many who have read here and other areas have had this same idea, but the reality is, the combination could be lethal for all we know, the interactions of these with each other is unknown, then again, maybe?

Hopefully in the near furture we will know about a combination of these to help everyone, I for one see a bright future for these you have mentioned, lets all hope so ..

Philip

Make of this what you will.

Hello Daunted,

Here is what I take:

rifampicin, 300mg twice a day
roxithromycin, 150mg twice a day (which would have to substituted by azithromycin in the States)
B-12, 5000mcg sublingually every day
co-enzyme Q10 in large dosages
4000mg Fish Oil per day
Vitamins A,B,C,D,E, selenium and magnesium in large dosages
acidophilus, several capsules as required.

Also, five day bouts every three weeks or so of:
metronidizole, 400mg three times a day

10 months ago I could hardly walk unaided or use my right hand due to rapidly progressing SPMS, now I am able to walk without needing even a stick for quite some distance, I can use my right hand relatively easily and my fatigue levels are greatly diminished.
