My opinion, as you know, of course is that the culprit is excess insulin in the bloodstream.

Thanks for reviving this thread. I have also noticed numbness coinciding with vascular color changes. And I agree with what Bob said 2 years ago (maybe he was smarter then) that this may not be the cause but it may be another way to fight MS damage. The lack of attention given to MS as a vascular disease is evident in the old "MS causes no pain" myth whereas anyone who had a headache from this **** can tell you plenty about pain.

I looked up research yesterday on exercise and platelet activation too and from what I could gather: consistent cardio exercise is good for it but going from sedentary to extreme exercise is bad. I still have difficulty grasping how you can have damage to arteries in your brain and not have a stroke.

Have been out of town for a couple of weeks, and returned to read it thru-
I've been researching vascular endothelial cell activation and its relation to MS. Lots of correlation. Pretty sure it's a component of Jeff's MS- because of all of his blood leakage/petechia/bruising issues. Also, we had to stop the minocycline treatment because of intracranial hypertension headaches.
His blood tests always show inflammation.
