Graduate Student Study

Hi! My first disclaimer is that I do not have MS. I'm a graduate student in Audiology and for my doctoral thesis, I am looking at how a test called the ABR can reflect any changes occurring in the auditory system. I'm looking for people with MS who have normal hearing and would be willing to participate in my study.
The test, the Auditory Brainstem Response, requires you to be asleep or very relaxed (you'll lie in a recliner, with a pillow and blanket, if you'd like) and have some sensors put on your earlobes and forehead. Some kind of loud sounds will be played into your ears (it's a safe level, but louder than everyday conversation) and the sensors pick up the response given by your nerves. Research has been really varied about what sort of responses one can expect to see.
If you are in the Mid-Michigan area and think you would like to help out, please let me know. I will give you my e-mail address and we can go from there. I could also get you the results of the test to give to your doctor, but otherwise, there is no compensation for taking part in this research project.
I do apologize for posting this in a forum dedicated to people who have MS; I can see how it may be seen as bad form, but I hope you can forgive that slight.
