So, i'm still battling to get a diagnosis one way or another. My initial diagnosis the doc thought MS, but then backed off because of only one episode. Working on getting a 2nd opinion. My first episode involved numbness/loss of feeling on the left side of my body (which went just to my left hand after a day), along with dizziness and itching in both of my lower legs for almost a month (along with the left hand).

I'm finding myself constantly wondering if stuff going on with me now is possibly related. Starting last wednesday, I noticed some pain in my left eye. It's not the first time i've felt this. Normally it was just for a day, or less and then went away. Usually in my left eye. It is hard to describe this pain. I've seen people talk about pain behind the eye. This feels like almost my whole eye is soar. On wednesday it started as i would occasionally notice it. I would also notice it if i put pressure on my eye, like if i was rubbing my eye. It was still there on Thursday. Today, it's been a constant feeling. And, i'm noticing it all the time when i move my eye.

Being it is the 3rd day, i'm guessing i should go get it looked at. I more just hate the not knowing and 2nd guessing. And/or the feeling like i'm bugging my wife with mentioning all this stuff, like i'm complaining or something. She wants to know what is going on, so i'm telling her, i just feel like i'm complaining about little stuff.

I had pain in my eye when I had optic neuritis. First came the blurry vision in that eye and then my eye would hurt whenever I would move it to look upwards. If I was looking straight ahead it did not hurt.

But.. Everyone's symptoms are different. And urologist would be able to tell if you do have optic neuritis by doing some vision tests and examining your optic nerve.

The prescription medication, Keppra, is the only med that completely stops my ON eye pain. You might want to ask your doctor if you can try Keppra.
