The histamine that effects allergies is histamine1. With MS, it's histamine 2 that is low and that's what Prokarin inserts into the patient. Although they have the same "histamine" name, 1 and 2 operate very differently in your body.

To answer your question Mr. Kronk we were created in Gods image but the Bible does not say we were created perfect. I am not familiar with the Amish or the disease you mention but everyone on this earth is exposed to toxins. Most of the information you post come from official government sites so I question the accuracy. If they are eating non GMO food that is a good thing but our environment is full of toxins. Companies are dumping chemicals in our water, lots of radiation in the air, along with the fluoride in the water with the approval of the FDA. The baby's body is the result of what the mothers body has in it. The problem with the baby is it is not developed and these toxins have more of an effect on it. That is why we are seeing so many sick babies. The mother should keep her body as free of toxins as she possibly can but there are toxins present in all babies. It may be possible to damage the body beyond repair and eating the real foods that our bodies need may not repair the body. That is a possibility yet many of these children get better when they are put on a healthy diet. Is it so strange to believe the body can repair itself when given the proper food? I do not believe there will ever be a magic drug for curing MS nor do I believe the people running the system want a drug to cure MS. MS is not caused by a lack of a drug. It is caused by toxins in the body and not enough nutrition to address this problem. We can get well when we get the real information. The FDA is not giving us the real information so I post information about the FDA. People should understand what the FDA is about so the can make a judgement on whether to believe them. I would rather believe what real people have to say about the FDA than the studies put out to further their agenda. I would like to see everyone get their health back but do not think that is possible if you follow the instructions of the FDA.

There are always 2 sides to every story. One reference by Wanna was using the Hoxsey Clinic in Mexico to achieve a very high cure rate for cancer. Here is another point of view that had several sources of information so please don't use the conspiracy theory and say it is all lies.

Interesting to note that Mr. Hoxsey used his own treatment for Prostrate Cancer and it failed. He turned to conventional treatment and lived another 7 years. There was also a reference that the people who failed to respond to the Hoxsey treatment did so because they had "a bad attitude"!!

While there is no doubt that good diet goes a long way to helping illness, stating that diet is the only way to treat illness and that the government medical agencies are all liars is sure folly.

I think the frustration stems from the fact that Want2Bike turns every debate about a potential MS therapy into an argument about the evils of government and the FDA. The amount of threads he/she has side tracked makes this individual the King of trolls. We all understand this individuals position, but they make it impossible to have a discussion as they interject random conspiracy theories into every thread. This one is just another victim.

I really do encourage you to go through that topic, kronk - if nothing else it's a half decent laugh. but I really think it contains some excellent options too!

we can't have good debate without the requisite two for the tango, but it can take some doing to stay clear of bad debate. when will power doesn't cut it, we can still take steps - as it were - to avoid engaging certain of our potential dance partners

Sorry to barge in on this debate, especially as a newcomer to both MS and the forum, but I must say that want2bike's posts scared me away from the forum more than once. I actually thought it was an X-files sort of forum, and looked elsewhere for information, until sheer need to read more about MS led me back here and I saw some quality posts, like HarryZ's.
No offense, want2bike, maybe there is something to your claims (especially given the fact that BigPharma finances the very research needed for the approval of drugs) but I don't think this is the right site to discuss conspiracies.
