ankle sprain possibly?

I sprained my ankle way back when and I suppose it heeled. That was when I felt on my left side, now I have very minimal feeling on that side. It hurts to go down stairs sometimes, and every so often theres a shooting pain that goes up the side of my calf. It's been confirmed that I have ms not that that should matter at this point. Uhmmm, I just really don't want to go to the doctor if I don't have to. And what doctor should I see? I feel like I should save referals and all that jazz and just go to urgent care. Any one have this porblem before?
