The problem with "remedies" for MS is that there aren't 2 people alike that will get the same results from whatever they try. As you have read, good diet, proper exercise and the proper rest are all good for overall general health. While that route will help your well being, it may or may not do much for your MS.

Some patients use the DMD medications that are approved for MS treatment but those results are all over the map. There are people who benefit from these drugs but others become very sick from the side effects. Alternative therapies such as LDN help some but do nothing for others. Others swear by some of the lifestyle changes that people recommend but there are those who have tried that and got nowhere.

In many cases where symptoms such as numbness in the hands or feet have lasted for a couple of years, the chances of recovery from those symptoms is difficult to gauge because if the neurons are badly damaged for that area, it will be very hard if not impossible for that to be fixed.

About the only way to figure out what to do is become as informed as possible with the various options out there and then decide what may be best for you. With MS, there is no "one thing fixes all". It's still a very mysterious disease with no known cause so trying to "cure" it or try and help the symptoms is extremely difficult.

Good luck.

luckily on average ms patients are low normal for a 'usual suspects' array of nutrients. we'll all do well to work on ensuring that our levels match those seen in healthy controls rather than the average ms patient. that way, we know what we're really dealing with and don't inadvertently blame ms or other conditions for symptoms brought on by malnutrition.
