We offer the chicken pox vaccine at work but when it comes time for my kids (I don't have any of my own yet) I would much rather have them get it naturally like I did if it's possible. Not only is it a rite of passage, and a virtual guaranteed immunity, but it also could be beneficial in the long run if they don't have the vaccine we're finding out now. We have parents coming in all the time refusing the shot because they feel the same way.

varivax isn't required yet. Once it is parents will start in with the religious issues like they do with the MMR. (even though we all know it was when the whole autism/mercury war started. "religious issues" my butt.)
