This woman will become one of the great educators of her generation. She wrote a lovely book called "Gut" which is actually full of useful information.
If you are unfamiliar with her then you will probably enjoy this.

Great book as is I contain multitudes by Dr Ed Yong.

Thanks for the recommendation Scott. Intrigued by the video, I obtained the book from my local library. I found it to be well written and informative. Surprisingly, I zipped through it in just 3 or 4 days and then wound up rereading some parts.

great book ..
Another great book to read after the gentle introduction offered by Enders is..
I Contain Mutlitudes by Dr Ed-Yong..massively informative and interesting.
