hey there dom, let me say that to my recollection the thread title did not originally have savior in it. i don't know if thread authors have access to change their own titles, but beat's went from not having mention of savior, to having it, to not having it. i imagine that's part of a private dialogue to which we'uns were not privy.

TWISTED: I am so THRILLED you are not leaving us! You clearly have a brilliant mind. For me, that is our most important asset.

I truly do understand the aversion by all of us to any who might be trying to capitalize on our vulnerabilities; however, it has been my experience since fully participating on this site, most folks here are incredibly intelligent--and REALLY funny!!! Anyone who might be considering an alternative treatment would have more warnings and highly credible "foods for thought" to offer all the protection needed! Now, here again, this is just MY opinion!

I cannot imagine how frustrating life must be for you...truly. From my own very selfish viewpoint, I find lots and lots of value to your life. You may not be able to walk across the room, but what you provide through your postings in invaluable!

Again, SO GLAD you decided to stay--WE NEED YOU!!

Fiber ?'s

Amelia:

I read up on the Fiber Choice tablets, and I actually can see where it may be beneficial, as long as they are the sugar free version, because I do not see where it contains any bran (which contains phytic acid-a mineral robber) in the tablets, but inulin which can enhance calcium absorption. Flax seed capsuls are not like taking real flax seed meal or flax seed oil with lignans.

Now, with regards to Gary's bulky stools. You need to understand that before people heal, they often feel worse. In other words, if you are working on healing the bowels, which is vital, there is often a period where things slow down or speed up quickly. People that are the most ill, have constipation during healing crises (which are necessary to healing) due to putrification or gunk being lifted off the lining of the colon and moving to the center--clogging things up. This is temporary.

It is essential to be drinking plent of water to help loosten stools and flush out toxins. Those natural fibers you mentioned are great, as well as completely switching to 100% whole grains. People whom I've consulted with generally only notice benefit when the utilize the correct supplements to heal the bowels, and make the necessary dietary improvements (eliminating enriched or white flour and sugar-and other sweetnening that feed yeast). Also, by swithing to 100% whole grains, you will automatically be getting more fiber which is extremely important for the healing process.

thanks Dave
It is a subject that many do not want to talk about. But it is a problem that all who have had bad bouts with MS/ Devic's or anything nerve wise has dealt with this. Gary started the flaxseed back the other night. We are going to watch this and see how it goes. May even start back on the fiber with the flaxseed. Those fiber choice taste REALLY good, even the sugar free. Don't get the weight management strawberry king. yuckkkkkkkk!!!!!!!!!!

I've no knowledge of this product but would v seriously avoid anything containing aspartame. Here's a useful link http://www.sweetpoison.com/aspartame-sweeteners.html

actually we eat sugar. I know that may be bad in some eyes, but you're damned if you do and damned if you don't. Our money is LIMITED so buying too much special stuff is out of the question. Also, Gary is a die hard junk food addict that is picky as all get out. I have just gotten him in the last few years to try some veggies and to eat more of them. So we make the changes we can and the ones we can live with, cause if you don't like what you are doing, you won't do it for very long!

Hi TwistedHelix,
I agree with the others. Stick around.

After some time to think about it, I couldn't help but editing this in later. I'm able bodied but I have to admit that you've impressed me with the tenacity of the human spirit. Thank you!
