I thought I'd posted this yesterday, but it disappeared. Article mentions Sphingolipids as an agent for neuronal growth/death:

Hi Dom,
You did post it yesterday and I responded to it. I played with the spelling and must be the moderators didn't appreciate it and deleted it because I've never seen a post dissapear like that before?

Hmmm, I can only guess at how you "played with the spelling", but it's beyond me why anyone would have removed my original post :? . I also e-mailed you on Friday to thank you for the links you sent me, but I'm not sure that got through either -- maybe my computer's developed MS, and the signals just aren't getting through...

Got it, thanks. I think I sent a smile in return.

The post probably fell victim to some hardware changes that occurred when the ThisIsMS site was moved to a new server. You can rest assured that the removal was accidental and not intentional.

See Arron's post on this topic.

Thank you NHE, that explains it entirely. I wasn't especially proud of that post so for my part it was no big loss  Considering the word in the subject line and my sick mind....you can guess where in the gutter I went.

Yes, thanks NHE, mystery solved. My mind appears to inhabit the same gutter as Bob, but I was sure I hadn't written what I was thinking!
