Nanotechnology and spinal cord repair

I found the link to this article on "ms news" submitted by art. I very much like the fact that it contains plenty of healthy caution, even though the subject matter could be very exciting indeed. Nanotechnology has already cropped up once or twice with regard to MS, and this approach of combining it with standard medicine seems to hold promise.
The subject of scar tissue is one which is very important to me since it presents a significant barrier to regeneration in areas of older damage. At first, when I read this article, I thought that a way had been found to break through this, but reading it again I think they are preventing some of the glial scarring from forming in the first place, which means they must be intervening soon after the damage occurs.
