Activia

Just wanted to share some possibly positive info with everyone. First, I do NOT have MS but my daughter does. I DO have three "autoimmune" diseases. (After much reading/research, I do not believe in the autoimmune theory--not important however.)
I started taking Activia after reading about it and the fact that their claims are validated by the FDA. Activia balances the digestive tract where many problems can originate. It balances the good and bad bacteria. It may do other "stuff" too.
I have suffered for years with dry mouth (reaction to garlic and pretty much anything that comes in capsule form!) and intersistial cystitis. These are both considered autoimmune diseases.
I started eating Activia, just one a day, a few months ago. Previously, when I had flare-ups, I could successfully "treat" them so they eventually went away. But it took a lot of effort and was be a real nuisance!
I was on a strong antibiotic a few months ago (a classic trigger for dry mouth). The third day, here came Mr. Dry Mouth--UGH! I increased my Activia to 5 a day and within 2 days the dry mouth was gone! It has also been very effective when an IC flare-up starts--it stops it immediately.
I am not saying this will "cure" MS. We all know no such animal exists! But before my daughter's MS stopped, she had terrible digestive problems. She also took Activia and has noticed a dramatic difference.
My point is, it can't hurt any of you and just may provide some small relief for some of your problems. And no, I do not have stock in Activia!!! If anyone does give it a try, would love to know if it helps you in any way. It is expensive but you only need one serving a day. It takes 2 weeks to adjust the digestive tract and you need to continue the one a day. I have mine with my dinner meal because it is always a consistency in my daily schedule.
My prayers for you all--Chris
