MRI - Showed lesions

I had my MRI, it showed 4 brain lesions and 2 thorasic lesions and possibly a cervical lesion. I just got my report, but have not been to the neuro yet. (I go next Wed)

What should I expect at the appointment? What treatment has helped most of you? And most importantly, could this be something else? Should I be asking for additional testing?

Confused & Frustrated!

I am no expert but my neuro diagnosed based on relapses and an MRi with 4-5 lesions on it.

It will depend on the neuro what they do. Most common are beta interferons or copaxone (which I am on). Discuss your options with your neuro.

The best piece of advice I was given is to write down all your questions so you have them with you when you go to see your neuro.

Sorry that it wasn't good news for you.

Wecome to ThisIsMS. I believe that you will find a very positive and proactive support community here. With regards as to what to expect at your next appointment, I have provided some links below to a couple of my prior posts on this topic.

I would also be happy to try to answer any other questions you might have.
