I came to the board not long ago. I was in the dumps. Going crazy about this monster called MS and just all over the place.

I found a wonderful group of caring and honest people. You girls and guys.

You have no idea how many of you helped me. More than you know...sp thank you with all my heart for that.

My Update:

Still on Copaxone- Shots still hurt and leave big welts and so forth but I'm dealing with it. I find that the only thing I think I'm having now as a side effect is muscle stiffness. I'm going for more walks now to try to see if that will help me. I'm doing some pilates too.

Saw the Endocrine Doc for a mass in my thyroid, two actually. I have to have a FNA ( Fine Needle Biopsy) done. Hopefully that turns out okay.

I still have to see the Urologist. That is pending.

I'm finding I'm getting a handle on things better. Its still alot to deal with but Im doing the best I can to deal with it. Some days are okay. Some are not so ok.

Im taking magnesium which does seem to help me some. I'm still on Vit D due to a low level I have.

I'm trying hard to get my life back in some way shape or form and not let this Monster own my life like it tries too. That's the hard part but I'm fighting it. I have good people around me including my two dogs that make me smile everday.

I wanted to thank you all for your help and support at a time I felt very alone and scared out of my mind. I find all the positives in life and I thank GOD for each minute of my life even the tough minutes.

I'm still working and love my job. I'm taking care of wounded Soldiers and Marines and they give me that extra push I need everyday..and they don't even know it...

You are all beautiful. Have a great weekend

:D Thanks Cheerleader...You really ARE a Cheerleader!!!! thanks for the comments. Yes, my job is hard but I would not be doing anything else. I love being a Nurse and caring for them on the homefront. I did it on their front too but now...its at home. Its an honor...
I will never let MS take me from this job...its not even a job really to me..its just my life and my joy to have this gift of being able to care for them.
