MRI of the Spine

Hello to all-

I'm due for another MRI...the majority of my lesions were in my brain in my previous MRIs, yet I had a single one in my spine. My neuro told me that another MRI of the spine was not necessary due to the lack of newer clinical signs related to it. I was wondering if anyone had a similar experience.

thanks in advance,

TOL

TOL,

I'm having another MRI in a couple of weeks and this one will be head only. Last year my neuro ordered both head and spine because my spine had not been done before. No lesions there and no new symptoms typical of spinal lesions during this year, so we are doing head only.

If you had a new lesion in your spine, you would realize immediately - new symptoms..!
New lesions in the brain often donĀ“t cause new symptoms, so it is good to have a MRI regularly.
