Now I am sure she has RRMS as those symptoms are present in every menstrual cycle... :lol:

Premenstrual time is also marked by an increase in capillary hyperpermeability because of increased levels of aldosterone. Aldosterone is a hormone that cause the kidneys to retain salt and water, which increases fluid volume in the body (why women get bloated during PMS) and raises blood pressure. Basically, during premenstrual times, the body is in a period of endothelial dysfunction.

Here's a study where they used ginko supplements to reduce hyperpermeability-
Idiopathic cyclic oedema is a frequent and often unrecognized condition in young women. It is characterized by water and sodium retention with secondary hyperaldosteronism due to capillary hyperpermeability.
