Since winter has started, I have had cold like symtoms, now I say cold like, cause it hasnt knocked me off my feet yet. It feels like I get the start of a cold then it changes to a start of different cold with different symtoms
- cough
- runny nose
- achy in the morning
- tired
- sore throat

Im not on any drugs for MS.

Anyone else felt like this before? and was there a way to stop it?

Yep, I've been there a couple of times this winter. One time the throat was so bad I did a strep test on myself..came out negative.
I figured it was one of 2 things, the first being an actual cold (lasted about 2 weeks each time), or the ebbs and flows of MS.
I don't like either!

Hi.

I have been used 50 mg zinc for improving common cold symptoms. Search pubmed for "cold symptoms zinc" and you will see many studies. Zinc supplementation is beneficial for MS, too. Before taking it, ask your doctor, so that you have a professional opinion, but AFAIK it is completely safe. Stay away from echinacea because it could be detrimental when used by MSers.

Zinc (especially picolinate) is benefficial for MSers, wife takes daily 50mg the last year with no problems, on the other hand echinacea doesn't negatively affect MS as most people believe, it boosts natural killer cells but don't spoil T cell balance!
Try also with the zinc about 100-200mg vit C every two hours.
Sou last researches say MS is a case of unbalanced or even underactive immune system NOT overactive as common belief is until now.

that is EXACTLY my point. and why d3 is so beneficial, it boosts the immune system too. with more powerful brakes.
