Hey,

Does anyone know what happened to him? I just noticed all of his posts have been deleted.

I don't know. I've never seen one person piss so many people off in such a short time.

Whether right or wrong, petakitty was turning thisisms into a flaming site of the kind that are a dime a dozen on the internet.

i think that is what he was going for - maybe he has a bet with someone to see who can get blocked from the most sites.

Yeah, I agree with JL....I thought it was fishy when PK asked NHE if he could block Robbie. I was like, huh????

My troll-dar went off on him a few times-

Yeah. Something weird was definitely going on because it's not possible to delete signs of your existence so completely without the help of the moderators. Even Finn was only able to delete the content of his posts but not the evidence that his posts had existed.

He mentioned the word "troll" once and I thought...ahhh! I see what you're up to........

From Wikipedia:
[i]"An Internet troll, or simply troll in Internet slang, is someone who posts controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum or chat room, with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional response or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion."

TBH I've never noticed that many thin-skinned people here.

I've got to agree.

I didn't have a chance to personally see the female avatar but NHE is the one who asked him to remove it, after asking him to downsize an earlier one and overlooking the final one which was a LITTLE bigger than regulation size (as is mine  )

Sure, Rob went ballistic a couple of times about other things but, kind of as Jimmy hinted, I got the distinct feeling that's what Pk was going for. The thread is now gone but in reality, it was PK who asked the moderators in "Site Support" how to block someone.

It's gone now..but he wanted to stop getting Robbie's messages posted and asked NHE how to block "someone" on the site support thread. He also made a nasty computer graphics cartoon and posted in on YouTube to get at Robbie, the link is gone now...the guy had some issues (to say the least) Come back Robbie...he's gone!

Yeah, WW...I mentioned that it looked like PK was trolling, and he went off on me. So I just stopped responding. Called "Not feeding the troll."

I don't think it was just the picture that upset Robbie (though I never saw it). In one of the threads, he wrote some pretty mean things.

I remember in one post, he said he was an online gamer. To me, most of his posts came off with that "in your face" flaming style that I imagine those guys use with each other.

Myself, I didn't care for that style, but some didn't seem to have a problem with it. I was curious because, like Bob, I found it weird that all trace of him has been deleted. It would be the definition of irony if he removed himself because he was pissed-off by people's thin skin. But I think the troll theory is more likely.

Very wise! Like you, I had the urge but I had a suspicion where that would lead and resisted.
