Cladribine

As I continue to hear of Cladribine's push towards approval, it occurred to me that I haven't really heard a lot of discussion here about it. Has anyone taken part in the trials? The data seems impressive to this point.

There are many Trial of Oral Cladribine one such report by Merck Serono shows 58% reduction in annualized relapse rates with the low dose and a 55% reduction with the high dose at 2 years.

They're already applying for a license here in the UK. Which means it could be available by 2011 in the UK. However, I'm really not sure I like the idea of increasing my risk of getting cancer or life threatening infections (the guardian article has more about this)!
