New VP of Research for NMSS

Well, since I mentioned it in another thread, I might as well post it, I suppose.
The NMSS has found its new VP of Research to replace Dr. Stephen Reingold. The new VP will be Dr. John Richert, presently of Georgetown University. It appears he is a neurologist, researcher, volunteer etc etc. He starts in April.
Any comments? (Pro or con) I think, from what little I have found out about him, that he's a good choice.

EDIT: I see that Art posted this on his website (i.e. Boston Cure) back on January 24th.
