CCSVI surgery

Hello, I am new to the forum and discovered it while researching CCSVI. I have RRMS and a background as a health care practitioner. The news that MS may primarily be a vascular disease makes total sense to me both scientifically and experientially. I would like your help in locating physicians in the US who have experience with the MRI's, US's and surgery so that I can proceed with treatment. I am aware of Dr. Dake at Stanford. Are there others? If so, where?

I'd also like to hear from anyone who has had the surgical proceedure. Have you had angioplasty only? Angioplasty with stints? When? Where? Any negative outcomes? Any problems with insurance paying for proceedure? Medicare? Please tell me your personal experience and if you have been happy with the results.

HI Montana,
Welcome! Its great to have another medical professional on here.
A lot of your questions are answered in the CCSVI board.
It might be worth you going there to have a look.
There is also a tracking thread of all those who have had the procedure.
