Anyone else experience flare-ups when there is low barometric pressure (i.e. heavy cloud cover, grey, drizzle)?

When it's humid the stiffness in my legs is always much worse.

I consider myself a human barameter. I can feel any change in the weather. Winter or summer -- ice, snow, rain, sleet, drizzle, humidity, greyness, and even that stuff on the radar map that's rain in the upper atmosphere but doesn't make it to the groud (I forget what they call it). It's a tie between humidity and cold as to what makes me feel the worst.

High pressure always makes me feel better, despite heat or cold.

Low pressure, humidity and north winds all make me feel much worse.

Just rig me up to a barometer now

I feel much worse on the grey cloudy low-pressure days. However, the hardest is when the weather change is abrupt. A sudden change from high pressure to low pressure is the most challenging. So, another walking barometer here.

There was an in-depth thread here a while back about dew point - temperature - humidity and symptoms that had lots of good info. Will try to find and bump for you.

Donna--Last November here in NC we had a 70 degree high and a 20 degree low. I woke up and I couldn't walk. This year, same damn thing. It "bites the big one" as they say, but it makes me feel the teensiest bit better knowing I am not alone. Here's to stable temperatures, and stable girls. Judi

My wife is the same way "walking barometer"

she tells me that if I move her to Hawii it'll fix that problem

I think someone had suggested to get a barometric thermometer but I can't remember which type, any idea?

I'm much the same. I can't put one foot in front of the other at the moment - it's been snowing on & off here for 2 days!

I also struggle with humidity too. Nice, boring pleasant but un-noteworthy weather is the way forwards for me!
