Definitrly think we have a higher turn over of RBC that effects the body. Maybe thats why women are effected earlier due to the menstrual cycle adding to their body's stress.

there is something called primary biliary cirrhosis neuropathy. in fact biliary cirrhosis is common with sjogrens which is a differential of MS. bilirubin is the break down of heme. itchy legs anyone? that is caused by bile salts. bilirubin it is the main pigment in bile.
