I've been looking forwards to a discovery like this. From a completely unscientific point of view. going on all I've read, I've always thought that an EBV vaccine has a chance of ending the relapses..

EBV resides in B cells. B cell depletion therapy is highly effective with MS, 100% of us are infected with the virus, EBV viral activity is heightened during relapses, vitamin D inteferes with it whilst effectively cutting our relapse chances. Is there anything else?

so the epstien barre virus is needed to catalize the autoimmune response?
So I guess the question would be what would happen to a porphyric if they came across the epstein barre? do different catylists cause different manifestations? If h pylori is found in up to 40% of GBSers and h pylori accumulates porphyrians then would the same be true of a virus? Hey I am asking stupid questions because I dont know. I have H pylori and I have peripheral problems.
