Dr. Bernard Bihari has passed away....

I didn't see this posted anywhere here so I thought people using LDN would like to know that Dr. Bihari, who pioneered the use of low dose naltexone, passed away yesterday, May 16.
Mary Bradley relayed the sad news on Facebook.
Dr. Bihari touched the lives of so many people who never had the honor of meeting him.

I am sorry to hear of his passing. I will forever remember him for the relief that LDN provided me. when I was diagonsed four years ago. I was assigned a neurologist who immediatley put me on copaxone. Besides enduring the daily needles which I hated (I don't know anyone who loves them), I suffered two very bad episodes. I discovered LDN and have been on it for nearly a year with less MS symptoms and no episodes. Dr. Bihari, though I did not know you, I am eternally grateful for your "thinking outside the box". May you rest in peace.

j'exprime ma profonde gratitude envers celui qui a permis que ma Sclérose en Plaques arrête d'évoluer en Mars 2005.
Pour l'avenir, je souhaite que l'intérêt thérapeutique des LDN (quel que soit les chemins que l'information suivrait) prévale sur les intérêts financiers des groupes pharmaceutiques qui agissent pour étouffer cette information qui, potentiellement, peut leur coûter de milliards de dollars.

I express my deep gratitude to the one who allowed my MS stops evolving in March 2005, I mean Bernard Bihari MD.
For the future, I hope the therapeutic benefits of LDN (whatever the ways this information would go trough) will prevail over financial interests of pharmaceutical companies that act to suppress it because it could do so that they loose billions of dollars.
