I am thinking of starting LDN--mainly because I think it might help with my numerous allergies, to foods, pollens etc etc.
If anyone has had LDN help relieve allergy symptoms, I'd appreciate hearing about it--
and also would appreciate any info if your alllergies got worse with LDN.

Hello shye I started LDN in March of this year. I have allergies to pollen, ragweed, etc. This is the first year in the last twelve that I did not have a runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing or any rashes. I had foregotten what it was like to be allergy free up until this year.

thanks ReddE
I was so desperate --my allergies always bad, but super severe this season--I started the LDN the night I posted my query--am starting with only 1.5 mg--did have dream recall after the first night, and I never recall dreams, so am looking on this as a good omen.
How many milligrams do you use?

I also started at 1.5mg and worked my way up to 4.5 mg. I have been on 4.5mg now for the past 4 months. I myself had severe allergies to pollen but this year you would not know it. As for as dreaming goes, I did not dream before LDN and I don't dream while on LDN. My wife tells me we all dream but some of us just don't remember. My only explanation to her was I must be dream of you asking me to do household choirs.
I'm no expert but I would recommend just keep increasing your dose until you get to 4.5mg and listen to your body along the way. You may or may not need to take the full 4.5mg but all I can say is it works for me. It may take a little longer to get the full benefits. Be patient and it will work out for you.

:D thanks for the info and encouragement ReddE--
only recalled dreaming that one time--but still, showed something going on with the LDN. Yes, wise I think to start slowly--I always overreact to meds--so will stay on the 1.5 for at least a month before increasing it.

I'll post in a month or so re: if any immediate help with other allergies. My worst to pollens are now, the ragweed, but also have severe food allergies--am hoping they decrease also--what encouraged me to finally try the LDN was when read the studies re: the great help gotten re: Crohn's Disease and Celiac Disease.
