LDN and alcohol

Does anybody know whether it is recommended that alcohol is not consumed while taking LDN? Because I did drink the other weekend and got much drunker than I usually would have on a lot less alcohol. As it is, this is not an urgent question (I am 15), but it would be good to have knowledge on this subject for the future..
Thankyou x

Tsk, tsk, but LDN shouldn't interact alcohol

I did a some research prior to starting LDN, and concluded that they should be fine together. That said, I found some anecdotal reports of LDN making hangovers worse. Even though I stopped the LDN after a week because it was making me feel so miserable, I had a few drinks during that time and didn't feel any worse for it.

However, one thing that is shown to mix poorly with alcohol is youth. So, uh, you've got a few years to search for answers to this question...

Although it doesn't interfere with LDN try not to drink after the time you take it, alcohol reduces glutathione levels, the major body antioxidant so it's bad for MS in every case!

Alcohol also doesn't help the brain. In fact, quite the opposite occurs. It restricts blood flow to the brain which can be seen in these Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT) scan images. It's difficult to even imagine that this effect could be good for anyone let alone someone with MS. For example, it's unlikely that the neurons in the affected areas of reduced blood flow even have a chance at being healthy.

Note: SPECT imaging measures blood flow using a radioisotope tracer and thus infers brain activity. Higher blood flow equals greater brain activity.
