Bromley,

This appears to be another one of those "jumping the gun" articles about Tysabri.
Nevertheless, there are no known cases of PML in patients using only Tysabri, the FDA says.
And that's the big problem....there isn't enough known about Tysabri and its relationship to PML or how, if or when it reacts with other drugs that the patient may be taking. I can understand MS patients wanting to use it because nothing else works for them (despite the CRAB makers coming out with more and more "trials" that show that these drugs are effective to some degree.) But how can the patient make an infomed decision when not even the medical community has the right answers?

Everything that is being written now seems to indicate that the safety review by the FDA will last anywhere from 6 to 10 months. And if approved again, the restrictions may be high.
