Has anyone heard anything about this? My dad was about to have his 6th infusion for tysabri when he called his infusion center to have them place the order for his infusion kit, they said something was wrong with his coverage with united healthcare. Whoever they used as a supplier or vendor for medications has changed I guess, & not only was getting the medication suddenly difficult, there is a good chance that the $35 Co pay will now be $5,000! He is about to be 7 days past his infusion day and we find out tomrrow if the treatment is coming & who will have to pay! If anyone knows anything more please tell me & if you have United Healthcare call them. This is scary

For what it's worth this sort of shit happens constantly, I had Blue Cross do the same with my Copaxone, and then reverse after we chased them down and got my doctor on the phone with the person. Are you working with an MS Care center? find out of they, or if the MS Society have any insurance advocates they work with, it makes it a lot easier, but they're not easy to find.
