hi,
I just wanted to ask if anyone has already tried homeopathy along with tysabri and if there were some reactions / results / feelings /whatever?
I'm on my 7th shot and I had quite a bad last month, difficulty walking and some urinary problems but it might be the winter season or something since it wasn't so bad before. however, my neuro says my last MRI which I did 1 month ago are excellent and there are no side effects (apart some very slight nausea and headaches at the beginning) so let's hope for the best!
tnx

I don't know if this falls under homeopathy, but I take a bunch of supplements, eat low fat, high-fiber and smoke weed at night. None of these seem to make the Tysabri react any differently.

:D tnx! I guess this is homeopathy, too! or self-help, all in one  Anyway, besides all that I have discovered that after drinking a few glasses of red wine my walking gets much better!!! of course, not too many glasses because then my balance gets worse though otherwise it really helps, it's amazing!

Homeopathy has no drug interactions of any kind and it is safe with everything. Here's the problem with homeopathy. It is not effective. In the best randomized, double-blind and with large numbers of participants it has been shown no better than a placebo in any one condition. The better the study the more likely the effects are consistent with the placebo effect. Save your money buy mineral water instead.

The theory behind homeopathy goes against established scientific principles. The drugs are highly diluted from the base drug. The more diluted the drug the more powerful. Many of the more potent drugs the odds that not even one molecule of the starting drug is present. The impurities in the water are in larger amounts than the drug in the final solution. The anecdotal evidence is the only real support for homeopathy. It has a very loyal following that recommends it highly for all MS symptoms. Anecdotal evidence is worthless in MS. Spontaneous remissions in MS is a normal pattern of the disease. Almost any thing can have anecdotal evidence.
