Huh? by your principals, "trust no one". Maybe they have been explicitly hiding it from you. I did not see with my own eyes that it does not.

Just replace aspirin with some other innocuous immune suppressant, and the point is valid. No, they ceased to exist at the point they died (lets not get into that one), but the individual cells would continue to process for a little longer (when you die, that does not mean every single cell in your body dies) and would theoretically continue to attack myelin, hence, they would still have MS when they were dead.

Getting back to to the point, NHE & Mike were making. Tysabri can not cause a "reboot" or and is not causing a mini-reboot as it does not kill the immune system. I feel confident, that to have got to this stage they have tested for and validated that there has not been the lowering of peripheral immune system cells that is seen with HyCy.

I really think you have chosen the wrong time to draw a line in the sand.

Thats the whole point. Its NOT an assumption. They would of scientifically measured it (even before they tested it on humans). You can try and confuse the issue with attempting to associate it with the fact they have yet to find a cure for MS, but the question at hand is much much simpler and direct than that.

I will find out next week if I am on the Campath arm or not. If it comes up Rebif, I will almost surely dropp out and look elsewhere for something besides the CRABS. REBIF SUCKS (for me)!!! The decision to proceed this way seems to me the only way for me. Some people might be perfectly ok with Rebif, might even want that crap. I know first hand it does not work for me. Five years of data on that one. I pray for the Campath arm. If I get it I will start my treatment 2/23/09... kind of scared and happy at the same time.....

They do blood work atinitial screening and again immediately before the first treatment. If your blood values are not within a range they will delay the trial, or DQ you from it. The results of the randomization are not known until immediately prior to the treatment. For example, I am supposed to start 2/23 and I will not know the randomization results until late next week. Once you have been grouped do not believe they will move you to another group. It is weird because there is a wash out period when you have to stop what you are on. Rebif for me. I have been off for 3 weeks now and there is still a chance that they will say, oh you are in the rebif group and want me to start that stuff again after having me stop it for 28 days... Being off interfeuron is weird after being on it for 7+ years. I know how much I do not like it now more than ever.

I felt the same way before the trial started. I was praying for campath and ended up in that arm. It's been over six months since the first infusion and I am feeling great. I will be praying for you this week. Good luck and let us know what you end up with.
