went ok, other than i've now got a cold. yuck. so, do i have any immune system or what? nobody seemed to care that i was sick. i had the scary nurse... i woke up with mimi-a nurse that came right off the drew carey show staring down at me. and wow was she evil. i felt really feverish and yucky all day friday, and whatnot. yesterday was ok though. today seems ok. still sick with cold stuff. i am guessing it will probably just take longer than usual to go away?

Sara, I have been completely healthy since my infusions in April, so I don't know what to tell you; except that I am a nurse myself, and cannot accept anyone behaving like a mimi-clone!
Can you discuss this with someone? It sounds like this person is not fit for the job!

We have to go thru enuf, without adding mini-meanie peo0ple to deal with!
I am a nurse myself, and simply cannot accept people with less than 100% emopathethic skills looking after us!
I would fire them all, given the opportunity!
Gio forth and prosper! Empower all you can. Keep the faith.

Yes, I am working. I am 52. I took a few years off when my kids were born, but went back P/T almost right away.
Luckily, I got my MSN pretty early, and got into leadership.
I am currently a director of the med/surg division in a local community hospital, and I love my job. I don't think I could still work at the bedside, and certainly not 12 hour shifts, which everything seems to be now!
