I just created a new petition and I hope you can sign -- it's called: Multiple Sclerosis as an „invented diseease“ by Big Pharma – many billions dollars gains yearly! Stop this nonsense!

This issue is very important to me, and I’m trying to get to 100 signatures and could use your help.

I don't believe it's invented by big pharma but I align with your sentiment about drug pricing ethics or lack thereof.

Multiple sclerosis was described in 1800s before the inception of any modern pharmaceutical companies. The first disease modifying therapy in the United States was not available until 1993 (Betaseron)

There are multiple double blind randomized controlled trials (class 1a evidence) done by independent investigators for all 9 FDA approved disease modifying therapies. There is no such evidence for liberation therapy

I agree that pharmaceutical companies often do ethically questionable things in order to increase profits. Some of these include direct to patient marketing, reciprocation based marketing to physicians, and misleading labeling/marketing information. This is one reason why it is important to be well informed and to do your own research before taking any drugs.

Your suggestion that the medical concept of multiple sclerosis is a conspiracy from the start and that neurologists are aware of this and misleading people purely for finacial gain is outrageously libelious and I would encourage people not to sign this position regardless of their views on pharamaceutical disease modifying therapy and CCSVI.
