Fantastic MS research summary

This might be my favorite research summary of all time. Nice, brief overview of MS at the beginning, followed by a description of every experimental treatment type and all the representative clinical trials for each type of treatment. A lot to absorb, but worth the effort I think.

Wow, definintely a great article.
The stuff on monoclonal antibodies (eg, Tysabri) is sobering, and the warnings about FTY720 are not fun to read. I've been hopeful about FTY because it allegedly does not act as a general immunosuppresant, but apparently it affects the bone marrow and may also cause the PML (and god knows what else) (see p13).
It makes you wonder about all immunosuppresants really, and what the long term affects could be.
Still, I was encouraged by the positive write-up about omega-3 fatty acids - I'm a big believer in these (would encourage anybody to read the Jelinek book - it's his take on the Swank diet).
And T-cell vaccination is also promising - I'm watching the Tovaxin stuff closely - fingers crossed!

Is anybody else having trouble with this link? When I click on it, it freezes my browser, and when I download the file to my desktop Acrobat says that the file can't be opened.
I really wanted to read this, it sounds quite interesting...

I had no trouble downloading it , but the first time I only got about 12 pages read and my computer froze.
After rebooting, I was able to read the whole thing. There must be a bug or something in it.

I somehow don't wonder why they still promote autoimmunity of MS.
To make story short, when you see how many participants (agents) involved in MS, you wonder: is it possible to affect Toyota palnt assembly line by removing or changing one single screw?
