Our findings show that combined treatment, compared to using the medications alone, resulted in a significant reduction in disease severity, in both the acute and chronic phases of the disease, along with attenuation of inflammation, demyelination and axonal loss.
I am on both Lipitor and Mino. I have been worried that the combo may of been a no-no like Statins and Interferons. This mouse study raises my comfort level a little. Now to find out what happens in humans.

Do you know the dose of minocycline they are testing?
Or, perhaps, Cure, you could tell me what dose you are using. I am on the Lipitor too.
Thank you in advance, Carole

this one was a mouse study, and I dont remember that they give the mg/kg measurement either.

I am on 60-80mg of Lipitor (divided over 2-3 doses in the day), and 200mg/day (in a divided dose, ie 100mgx2) on minocycline.
