Emerging therapies

A 20 min video on emerging therapies.
I'm too busy to watch it, but I think of all those single people with MS in cold climates with nothing else to do.

PS I'm a big US fan (holiday destination, muscle cars etc), but one export I cannot forgive is your wretched trick or treat which kids here now embrace. I've opened the door six times this evening and I'm not happy.

98% of what they say is in the summary underneath. They touch a little on progressive MS near the end, mentioning T-Cell vaccination and fingolimid as possible candidates. Apparently a study for fingolimid in ppms has just gotten underway (?).
Didn't hear HiCy specifically but they did talk about bone marrow transplants in that regard, "is it the transplant or the immune suppression." A lot of talk about safety profiles (yawn)... but overall it is nice to hear 3 experts who have a strong grasp of the research out there.
p.s. bromley - any holiday that has women dressing up in sexy costumes is a good thing. you should be thanking us.

I agree with Bromley, I have never been confronted with the question "trick or treat" until last night. It is not very clear what the child means by this question. Do I want a trick? No. Do I want a treat? Yes. But in fact what the child means is "Do you want a trick or will you give me a treat?" Obviously this isn't very snappy. But at least it is grammatically clear. Still I did give him a treat but thought he was to give me an apple in return!! As all the Yanks will be leaving London soon we shan't have this solecism to deal with over the next few years. Bring back Guy Faulks night.
