Hi...
My name is Emera, and I don't know what I have yet... but all signs are pointing to MS.
Have been having odd symptoms for a year, gradually getting worse, such as roving pain, muscle damage, muscle contractions, numbness, and I think a few times actual paralysis, although I didn't know what was wrong at the time. I have been having tremors about 4 times daily recently starting about a month ago. My intial problem was a slipped disc in my spine near my brain stem due to a very bad injury. That was 4 years ago. A year ago I found out the disc had gone back in, and was no longer in pain, and about to get married. I was so happy, exercising and extremely active.
A week after marriage, I began feeling more tired. I began having extreme pain, everywhere. I began having muscle weakness, and two months later, went to the hospital because of extreme pain and the inability to walk. Fast forward to now, and my life is drastically different.
I have not been able to walk 4 times in the past 3 months. I have tremors every day. I have extreme pain every day, and I have began to feel "drunk" without medication or alchohol. My arms have gone dead at times, my muscles have hardened for no reason and been extremely painfull to move, sometimes for an hour, sometimes for a day.
Is this MS? I am now being sent to a nuerologist, should see them in Febuary. My primary care physician who is a nurse practitioner told me that my tremors look more like dystonia, but from looking at videos of people with MS experiencing tremors I would say mine look the same.
I am very scared, my husband is very depressed and angry, sometimes spiteful. I need help. Can anyone help me?
Do I have MS?
