Bobble & Tinkerbell,

Thanks for the links. I've check-out the possibility of post concussion but, 3 Dr's who have seen my brain MRI says there is no evidence of concussion. I'm not ruling anything out. But I'm still wondering if this is peripheral neuropathy instead. I have my 1st Neurologist appt this Weds. I'm really looking forward to that, as I'm hoping to finally get some more info/progress.

In the meantime since my last post, I've been having some interesting eye issues. First I've started getting a terrible dull ache behind both eyes. I see flashes & spots. My left eye has a pain in one spot like it's dry. My glasses aren't helping much. They're very annoying because of the numbness around my face & ears. So I went to the eye Dr for my 2 yr check-up, and apparently my right eye for reading has gotten worse... just my right. My left has a dry spot on it (ah-ha) that she says is caused by it not closing properly when blinking or sleeping. I also have a pigmented lattice degeration which she said could have been caused by my fall. Plus my far sight has gotten worse. She said based on my tests I need two different sets of glasses. Oh yeah, and during & after my vision tests, all my symptoms got worse for about 2 days. It was pretty bad. Don't know what that means.... think I'll post this on the General site for comments.

Bobble, how have you been doing? What's up with you?

Take care, and hoping the best for us all!

aww, thanks mamaduck! I hope things are going well for you.

My appt was, well, what I expected. I pretty much had to start from square one as her 1st questions was "what brings you in today"... first thing I thought was "didn't you even read my file?". But it still went well. She asked my why no one referred me to Urgent Neuro, and when I explained that I was, but Urgent Neuro refused me, she didn't seem very impressed. She says we need to get that spine MRI and EMG done as soon as possible because she is not ruling out that this is something I've had for a while that was aggrevated by the fall. She didn't name MS specifically. So the good news is that she is going to try and speed things up for these tests. I'm just hoping that this gets figured out soon now.

How have you been doing?
