Hello everyone, mine has been almost a year long struggle to find out exactly what is wrong with me.
It started early last summer where i kept experiencing severe bouts of fatigue, this went on and got worse and i was just told to eat better and take vitamins ect. It never really improved. In October of last year i began to have these dizzy spells that seemed to come out of nowhere they became very bothersome and i was told that its probably stress related.

Then on the morning of November 5th of last year i woke up to my room spinning. This kept on for weeks, multiple visits to my doc and was sent off to an ENT. The ENT wanted to order a series of tests the first being and MRI. I get the MRI done and they find a lesion near the corpus callosum. The MS flag gets raised and i go through the ringer of tests that come with a possible MS diagnosis. My spin MRI, blood work and lumbar puncture all came back within normal ranges so MS was put on the back burner and i was said to have possibly be suffering from an infection of the inner ear.

So at this point in time the spinning sensation dissipated into a kind of constant dizzy feel similar to a drunk feeling. So back to the ENT i go and get a VNG test done. The test showed some small signs of damage in my left ear but nothing to be clinically significant. So i was told i couldnt be helped once more.

So now i go to a neurotologist (a dizzy doctor) and get another ringer of tests done. At this point in time the dizziness is no longer my only symptom. Im experiencing muscle spasms, weakness in my arms and legs that seems to come and go (mainly my left arm) pain in various muscles mainly legs & feet and all sorts of other fun things. So no surprise all the tests come back normal. I was diagnosed with vestibular neuritis an infections of the vestibular nerve. I was put on a VRT physical therapy regimen with little results. The dizziness has improved to a certain point but does not seem to want to get better past that on top if that the other symptoms seem to be worsening particular the ones involving my left arm. My diagnosis has now changed to migraine associated vertigo and im about to start taking some pills i really have no interest in taking.

Im getting another MRI in June to see if more has popped up. Im just tired of the waiting game and cant wait for an accurate diagnosis so treatment can being.

Does any of this sound similar to anything anyone here has experienced?

The constant dizziness is by far the most troublesome symptom but the others seem to be catching up to it in terms of severity

Sorry for the long post, thank you anyone who took the time to read.

Welcome...I believe all of us present differently. I am by no means a Doctor, but I can tell you that I never really got "dizzy", more balance issues. My lumbar Puncture came out positive for neurological disease (MS)...hope this help's a little bit...also pray for healing!

God Bless,

leetz

Yea that seems to be whats throwing doctors off is that my initial symptom was the intense dizziness which the MS specialist ive seen said is not a common early symptom, especially when the lesion is not on the cerebellum or brain stem.

Thank you, Guess playing the waiting game is all i can do
